Overview
The S13 Series Oil Immersed Distribution Transformer is designed for reliable medium voltage power distribution in industrial, commercial and infrastructure applications. It uses insulating oil for both electrical insulation and heat dissipation, which keeps the windings cool under continuous load.
The transformer steps medium voltage electricity down to the low voltage required by factories, commercial buildings, infrastructure facilities and other electrical loads. Rated capacity, primary and secondary voltage, vector group, impedance and installation environment are all selected to suit the individual distribution project rather than fixed at a single rating.
The S13 can also be supplied as part of a prefabricated substation together with medium voltage switchgear and low voltage distribution equipment, allowing the whole distribution point to be assembled and tested as a coordinated unit.
