Overview
This box-type AC metal-enclosed switchgear is built around the FZN-12/630 type vacuum load switch. The ring main unit equipped with this switch meets the corresponding technical requirements of the FZN-12/630 vacuum load switch.
Two cabinet schemes are available so the switchgear can serve either end of a feeder. The ingoing cabinet scheme provides one FZN-12/630 vacuum load switch with an isolating knife and an optional grounding knife, all mounted on a single frame and interlocked with each other, so the operations for connecting the busbar, isolation and earthing can be carried out in sequence.
The outgoing cabinet scheme provides one FZN-12/630 vacuum load switch together with a fuse with striker, which acts as a disconnecting switch, and a grounding knife, which also allows three-position operation. Current and voltage transformers and YH series surge arresters can be installed flexibly inside the cabinet, and in some arrangements the metering cabinet can be omitted.
