What products does SAGE Power manufacture?
SAGE Power (Zhejiang Shengxian Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd.) designs and manufactures medium- and low-voltage power distribution equipment, including ring main units, high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, prefabricated (box-type) substations, power transformers and high-voltage components such as circuit breakers, load switches, disconnectors, fuses, surge arresters and current and voltage transformers. All products are engineered in Yueqing, Wenzhou, China.
What is a ring main unit and where is it used?
A ring main unit (RMU) is a factory-assembled, metal-enclosed set of switchgear installed at the load connection points of a ring-type distribution network. It normally contains two switches that connect the load to either or both main conductors, plus a switch and fuse or circuit breaker that feed a distribution transformer. RMUs are used for medium-voltage distribution, typically from 7.2 kV to about 36 kV, and are commonly installed outdoors in cable distribution networks.
What is the difference between medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear?
Low-voltage (LV) switchgear operates below 1 kV AC and is used for final distribution, motor control and protection. Medium-voltage (MV) switchgear covers roughly 1 kV to 75 kV and is used for primary distribution, transformer protection and ring networks. SAGE Power supplies both, from LV distribution cabinets to MV switchgear cabinets fitted with vacuum or gas-insulated circuit breakers.
What voltage and current ratings do you offer?
Our ring main units and switchgear are typically rated from 12 kV to 40.5 kV for medium voltage and 400 V or 690 V for low voltage, with busbar and short-circuit ratings matched to your project. Power transformers, prefabricated substations and high-voltage components are produced to your required voltage, current and fault levels. Which standards and certifications do your products meet?
Our equipment is designed and tested to relevant IEC standards, including IEC 62271 for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear and IEC 60076 for power transformers, with internal-arc type testing to IEC 62271-200 available. We operate an ISO9001 quality management system; switchgear carries CCC and ISO9001 certificates, while components are certified to CE, RoHS, CB, TUV and KEMA.
Do you offer OEM/ODM and customized manufacturing?
Yes. SAGE Power supports OEM production to your design and brand, ODM development of new products and moulds, and build-to-drawing or build-to-sample manufacturing. We can apply your logo, nameplate, labels, manuals and packaging, and our engineers work from your drawings, single-line diagrams and technical requirements.
What is the minimum order quantity and typical lead time?
Minimum order quantity depends on the product and the level of customization; trial and sample orders are negotiable for most items. Standard lead time is generally several weeks after drawing approval and deposit and is confirmed with your order. For urgent projects we will propose the fastest realistic schedule.
Can you provide samples or technical drawings before production?
Yes. For customized and OEM/ODM orders we prepare drawings for your approval and can produce a pre-production sample for review before mass production. Routine tests are carried out on every finished unit, and test reports can be supplied with the shipment.
What warranty and after-sales support do you offer?
Every unit is backed by a one-year quality guarantee covering manufacturing defects. Our engineering team provides technical support from enquiry through installation and commissioning, and we supply spare parts and documentation for long-term maintenance.
How do you pack and ship orders, and which regions do you serve?
Products are packed for export with protection suitable for sea and land transport, and we coordinate shipping with your forwarder or ours.
